Maria Moreno is an Argentinian artist who uses materials from all over the world to create special one of a kind pieces that have been featured in international expositions.  Her current collection Women Beholding South East features pieces crafted from a wide array of materials including ancient glass retrieved from the bottom of a river in Afghanistan, faceted citrine, freshwater pearls and nautilus shell.   The contemporary pieces in this collection express a melding of space, nature and culture in the artist's unique spontaneous style.  All items are shipped directly from her studio in Chile.  Get to know Maria Moreno in our recent interview.  The jewerlry designer herself explains the inspiration for her latest line:
