Perihan Tufan is a costume jewelry designer who blends art, history, propaganda, storytelling and philosophy into award winning pieces in her Paddington studio in Sydney, Australia. Inspired by nature, vintage and antique jewelry from the Egyptian, Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, Art Nouveau, Art Deco eras and art jewelry from the 1930s to 1960s, Perihan Tufan uses a wide range of techniques to create one of a kind designs that have appeared at red carpet events, opera, film and television, runway and catwalk events as well as one of a kind commission pieces.
